IvyPride is a group for LGBTQ+ alumni, faculty/staff, and grad students who meet monthly at rotating locations.

This time, we’re inviting you to a hike on the famous Stanford Dish Trail. It’s a 3.5-mile paved loop with about 600 feet of elevation gain. The hike offers beautiful views of the Stanford campus, the Bay, and scenic undeveloped hills. Pets are not allowed, as the area is used for ecological research by the university. The hike will take us between 1 and 1.5 hours, and we could grab some food afterwards.

Meet us at 9 am at the Stanford Gate (southern entrance on Junipero Serra Blvd). Parking is available on Stanford Ave, or at the nearby Lucille M. Nixon Elementary School - check all signs!) but it could be busy, so give yourself time to park. This month, we are holding separate men's and women's events. Our women's event will be at the Studio Bar in the Dickens! The Studio Bar is on the 2nd floor and this venue is stair access only.

This event is particularly for our women and non-binary identified cis and trans alums from all schools. We particularly welcome alums from schools with active LGBTQ alumni associations. IvyPride is a group for LGBTQ+ alumni, faculty/staff, and grad students who meet monthly at rotating locations.

The Graduate Hotel (recently renovated, as we found out) offers a creative and chic environment in a historic building in the heart of Palo Alto. The rooftop terrace is perfect for a summer evening with charming downtown views surrounded by pine trees. Please arrive on time, as this venue is always busy and the majority of the party must be present to get seated.
