Dinner and a Movie!

A group of Lyon's Pride members are gathering to attend the season premiere of "The Secret Diaries of Anne Lister." The show is 7:30pm at the Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton.

We will be gathering before the movie for dinner at Paul and Elizabeth's Restaurant in Thorne's Market at 5:30pm. If you are interested in attending dinner, or finding our contingent at the movie theater, please RSVP to Donna at dalbino83@yahoo.com so we can coordinate the reservation or a meetup place.

The movie is a BBC production. Based upon actual diaries written in code, this passionate romantic drama portrays the remarkable life of Anne Lister (1791 – 1840), who was a 19th century British landowner, industrialist, mountain climber – and lesbian. Dubbed Britain’s “first modern lesbian”, Anne Lister had numerous relationships with women starting when she was age 13 at a boarding school for girls.
