The Yale Alumni Magazine's recent cover story "Why They Call Yale The Gay Ivy" sparked a furor among its readers, igniting a larger controversy about homophobia, tradition and the generational divide in our country today.

Out of this vehement and diverse alumni response was born The Gay Ivy. Created by Yale Alumni Thomas Dolan '05, Megan Stern '06, and Ethan Heard '07 and directed by Peter Cook '05, the piece also features the talents of Yale performers Tim Eliot '05, Emily Jenda '10, and Kobi Libii '07.
